We’re excited to announce the launch of the Manly Municipal Council Minutes 1877-1960 on History Hub, a free online resource of Northern Beaches local history.

A treasure trove of information, the collection is a fascinating documentation of the rapid day to day transformation of Manly and it’s surrounds - from a small seaside village to a bustling playground by the sea as population and infrastructure boomed.

The collection includes handwritten minutes from the very first Council Meeting and is keyword searchable from 1915 onwards.
