Beeswax wraps are a great alternative to using single use plastic wrap and it’s an easy process you can do at home. Learn a new skill while helping keep our oceans plastic free.

Included in your kit:

  • 3 x Cotton fabric squares
  • Block of beeswax
  • Small block of coconut oil
  • A web link to the tutorial video

What you will need:

  • Deep baking tray or electric frypan

Method:

  1. Place your block of wax in the baking tray or frypan and melt on a low heat.
  2. Once melted add your coconut oil.
  3. Dip the fabric ¾ into the wax. Give a light shake until it stops dripping. The wax is hot so make sure it has cooled a little to move on to the next step.
  4. Rotate your fabric to dip the last ¼ into the wax. Let the excess wax drip off.
  5. After 30 seconds the wax will be completely hard and your wrap is done.
