As of Sunday 10 January, all libraries have resumed normal opening hours and return chutes are available. We have a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff. Please read our conditions of entry before visiting the library.

If you require further information, please contact us

Are meeting rooms available?

They are not available to be booked for the time being due to social distancing restrictions.

Are there conditions for entry?

Yes. In line with NSW Health orders, all people entering the libraries must provide their name and contact number as a method for contact tracing. QR codes are available on posters near the entry door to the library. Use your smartphone camera app to scan the QR code and this will open a webpage where you can fill in your details. If you're unable to check in using the QR code please let a staff member know so that they can assist you.

We ask that you use the hand sanitiser we have available at all branches and practise social distancing at 1.5 metres apart.

Are there limits to the number of people who can come in?

Yes. The floor space of each library has been measured to ensure we follow NSW Public Health Orders for social distancing. You may be asked to wait if space is at capacity.

Dee Why Library - 90 people

Manly Library - 90 people

Warringah Mall Library - 120 people

Glen Street Library - 70 people

Forestville Library - 45 people

Mona Vale Library - 110 people

Yes. Access is limited to 30 minutes per day per customer.

Will programs resume?

In line with NSW Health rulings, the safety of our customers and staff is our top priority so we will not be resuming many of our regular programs for the time being.

To support our community during this period, the library service is excited to bring you a range of online activities you can do from home. If you are missing Story Time or Rhyme Time sessions, our presenters have recorded online sessions which you can watch on our YouTube channel.

When attending programs at the library please follow all Government guidelines regarding social distancing, self-isolation and personal hygiene.
