Correa reflexa

Correa reflexa is a low growing (0.5 to 2m), wonderfully hardy shrub that flowers throughout the year.

There are many different forms, from near prostrate to more upright and yellow cream, pink, red and yellow flowers. The flowers are long and tubular bell shaped and are attractive to birds and other nectar lovers.

It will grow on a wide range of soil types and in both sun and shade. The best growth and flowering conditions for this plant are in a well drained soil with a good compost mulch and regular watering.

It will survive if neglected and is rarely troubled by pests or disease.
