This small, spreading shrub grows to 50cm in height. Stems often become entwined among other small shrubs, sedges and grasses.

The plant occupies ridgetops, upper-slopes and to a lesser extent mid-slope sandstone benches.

It flowers between July and November however residual flowers may persist until late December. 

Listed as Vulnerable in New South Wales
