Whether you’re looking to make a splash or just relax and enjoy a picnic there's no better place than the renewed Paradise Beach Tidal Pool and Wharf.

This heritage listed site originally built in the 1940’s had almost been loved to disrepair before a recent renewal program rebuilt the whole structure half a metre higher, added new tidal stairs, safety netting and an access ladder.

The team also upgraded the original heritage groyne (rock barrier) that helps protect the structure from erosion with a new widened concrete capping, maintaining its historical significance while improving its functionality.

The improvement works require less maintenance reducing longer term costs and mean less impacts on the environment, all while enhancing safety and accessibility for all users.

Community feedback played a crucial role in shaping this project and saw access available across summer while the final pieces of the project were completed.

We encourage everyone to come and explore this piece of paradise and enjoy the renewed facilities.
