The Northern Beaches’ most delectable restaurants and cafes have teamed up with local boutique brewers and the Mudgee Wine Region’s best wineries for a pop-up style food-and-wine festival overlooking Pittwater’s stunning Winnererremy Bay on Sunday 27 August from 11am - 5pm.

Taste of the Beaches promises sumptuous food paired with craft beers and boutique wines, plus family-friendly entertainment, including live music - all in a spectacular waterfront setting.

Northern Beaches Council General Manager Customer & Corporate Helen Lever said Taste of the Beaches is an exciting part of the Sydney social calendar.

“It’s a day the whole family can enjoy and a fantastic way to celebrate the end of winter,” Ms Lever said.

“We’ll have around 25 stalls featuring regional wines, quality local food and beer, children’s activities and live music.”

Official tasting glasses will be sold for $5 and tickets from participating wine and beer stalls will be $3 for each tasting.

“You will be able to grab something delicious to eat, top up your glass, sit back and relax in one of Australia’s most beautiful locations,” Ms Lever said.

Performers taking the stage include:

  • Black Bird Hum – groovy roots, reggae and folk
  • Gang of Brothers – “deeply funky”
  • Kool Vibration – a combination of roots and reggae

Children will love the popular Flying Fox Park (yes, they can ride the flying fox), free face painting, arts and crafts, interactive stalls, a children’s puppet show, and much more.
