Local restaurants and bars are plating up a party, with the highly anticipated return of Taste of Manly on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May.

After a two-year hiatus, our iconic food and beverage event is back but in the new location of Manly Oval.

Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said the major event draws in foodies from across Sydney and further afield to taste the very best of Manly’s cafes, bars, restaurants, and breweries.

“The past two years have been a very challenging time for the hospitality sector and our local businesses are no exception,” Mayor Regan said.

“We are so excited to bring back Taste of Manly in a new location to celebrate the very best that our local food and drink vendors have to offer while supporting local businesses as they get back on their feet.

“Grab your friends and family, support local, and come on down to Manly for a fun, foodie adventure.”

Local food vendors include Saké Restaurant & Bar, Daniel San, Ruby Lane, The Bavarian, Little Viet, Felix Halter paella, Mex & Co, The Tropic Manly, Zing Fresh Catering and Seven Miles Coffee Roasters.

Local breweries and distilleries include 7th Day Brewery, Bucketty’s Brewery, Dad & Dave’s Brewing, Freshwater Brewing Co, Modus Brewing, NOMAD Brewing Co and Manly Spirits Co. Distillery.

The event also includes stalls from popular NSW wineries including Allandale Winery, Hungerford Hill Wines, Pepper Tree Wines, Petersons Wines, Peterson House, Savannah Estate and Tulloch Wines.

Local musicians will entertain visitors throughout the day.

This year, the two-day food festival has been moved to Manly Oval to better manage crowds and ensure it can safely proceed should any restrictions be introduced by the government.

Tickets are limited and include your tasting glass, so make sure you buy online before the day.
