Glen Street Theatre is excited to welcome its new Director, Bronwyn Edinger to the role bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and an exciting vision for the theatre.

Ms Edinger has had a long relationship with Glen Street Theatre being an advisory committee member for the theatre 12-years ago which she says has added to her passion for the role.

“From delivering touring shows almost 20-years ago to spending time on the former advisory committee and enjoying shows as an audience member, Glen Street is a wonderful theatre to be a part of.

“I’m delighted to join as Director and continue the venue’s proud tradition of enabling audiences to access high quality professional theatre,” she said.

Ms Edinger’s extensive theatre industry experience includes working as the General Manager for a number of large arts organisations including Bell Shakespeare, City Recital Hall, Black Swan State Theatre Company and Arts on Tour NSW.

She was also a member of the NSW Premier’s Arts Advisory Council, Director of Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (Merrigong Theatre) and the Founding General Manager of Perth Theatre Company.

“It is an especially exciting time for Glen Street as so much has been done to activate the area with plenty for people to do, see and enjoy.

“The theatre plays a dynamic role with a full calendar of events including a professional Subscription Season, music productions and magical children’s shows. It’s a season that will capture the imagination of everyone.” Ms Edinger said.
