Northern Beaches Council is delighted to announce the Harbour View Children’s Centre will return to its home in Seaforth in January following extensive renovations and extensions.

The child care centre will offer 52 child care places a day, with increased capacity for the number of three-year-old and younger children that can attend the centre.

Apart from spectacular harbour views, the renovated facility’s features include outstanding disability access with a special lift ensuring access to the higher level outdoor play space.

Mayor Michael Regan said the redeveloped child care centre will complement Council’s first class range of child care centres.

“Our long day care centres provide working parents with a stimulating, safe and interactive environment for their children to learn and play.

“We’re committed to providing quality child care to better support families and our community.

“Harbour View offers best practice in child care facilities. Our centres care for children from 6 weeks to school age with flexible pick-up and drop-off times. We are very proud of what they offer.” Mayor Regan said.

As well as Harbour View, Council child care centres are located at Belrose, Brookvale, Dee Why, Manly, Narrabeen, North Harbour and Fairlight.
