The Northern Beaches’ most family-friendly, fun-filled, action-packed event - the Brookie Show is back for 2018, bigger, better and brighter than ever at Brookvale Oval on Saturday 20 October (10am - 4pm).

This year’s Brookie Show will feature a whole new emphasis on kid-friendly activities, circus shows and entertainment - and a great mix of healthy and festive food choices for when everyone gets peckish!

And there’s a great big treat in store for Trolls fans this year, presenting their live show and meet and greets throughout the day!

Join the stars of Trolls! Poppy, with a song in her heart, knows life is all about cupcakes and rainbows and Branch, who is very cautious, careful but is always ready for anything - except Poppy's personality! Poppy and Branch have their ups and downs but always become friends and understand each other in the end!

Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said the Brookie Show is a Northern Beaches institution and shouldn’t be missed.

“The Brookie show has been going for eight years and every year we manage to jam-pack this great event with more activities, food stalls and entertainment – there is something for not only the small kids, but the big ones too!

“It’s for one day only, so don’t miss out on the Show.” said Mayor Regan.

There’ll be rolling 20-minute performances by La Petite Grande Circus in a mini “spiegelesque” tent - gorgeous on the outside and full of big surprises on the inside!

For all day fun, the Inflatable Park is back complete with a purpose-built ‘toddler zone’ and lots of great rides for primary school aged children too.

There will also be a music stage with the delightful street theatre and roving performers Beeswax and Bottlecaps back for 2018, as well as a silent disco, kids Glow and Flow Yoga and much more.

All the fun will leave your tummy grumbling, but we have that covered too. Enjoy the fantastic culinary flavours on offer from a variety of food trucks including Greek, Turkish, Mexican and a mix of sweet desserts.

“And don’t forget to bring your reusable water bottle and coffee cup to this event to do your part to help end plastic pollution.” Mayor Regan said.

Brookvale Oval is on Pittwater Rd, Brookvale and the community is encouraged to get public transport to the event.
