Northern Beaches Council will subsidise vegetation tipping costs at Kimbriki for local residents who have experienced storm damage.

Mayor Michael Regan said many residents had trees and branches bought down by the combination of rain and high winds experienced during the week.

“We know lots of our residents have trees down and may not be able to fit it all in their normal clean up.

“We’re pleased to be able to do our bit to help out and make sure residents are not out of pocket.” Mayor Regan said.

Residents taking their vegetation to Kimbriki will attract no charge up until Sunday 9 December. They will however need to provide proof of address in the form of a drivers licence or rates notice to qualify. This subsidy applies to residents only and not commercial companies.
