Aerial acrobatics, circus shows, fire twirling, amusement rides, show bags, live music, delicious street foods and a 7.45pm firework spectacular – there is something for everyone at the Brookie Show on Saturday 21 October, 12 - 8pm.

Northern Beaches Council General Manager Customer & Corporate Helen Lever said more than 15,000 people are expected to attend the circus-themed event at Brookvale Oval.

“The 2017 Brookie Show is a fun-filled, family-friendly day with a carnival atmosphere that is accessible for the whole community.

“Originally an agricultural show, Brookie Show has evolved to celebrate community, belonging, the arts and more,” Ms Lever said.

Entry to the show is free. Check Council’s Facebook page or visit northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au from Monday 2 October for a special rides pre-sale offer which is only available online and ends 5pm, Thursday 19 October. Purchase 10 tickets for $25 and get 5 free.

New attractions include La Petite Grand Circus, fire shows, 10m high ‘Aerial Silk’ acrobatic artist performances and rides such as paddle boats and, for thrill-seekers, the Hurricane thrill ride.

Sydney Food Trucks will bring the latest street food including their devilishly delicious Milk N' Sugar – a sweets and desserts pop-up.

Four-piece ensemble Brothers will play a mix of pop hits, indie gems, smooth jazz, cutesy folk and Rasta reggae to get you moving and grooving.

Extra parking is available at Brookvale Public School for $5 with proceeds going to Brookvale Public School and NSW Rural Fire Service.
