The Northern Beaches is full of incredible people and organisations who go above and beyond for our community every day. You can make sure they get the recognition they deserve – nominate them for an Australia Day award!

There are 7 award categories, for individuals, events and community groups. The nomination process is easy – just fill in the form by the 29 October closing date. It’s a great way to celebrate all those local heroes who embody the Northern Beaches community spirit.

Congratulations to Councillor Candy Bingham on her election to the position of Deputy Mayor this week. Councillor Bingham is an experienced councillor and a passionate advocate for the Manly Ward as well as a champion for all in our community. And thank you to out-going Deputy Mayor Ruth Robins for her service. She has been a great support to me and an exceptional Deputy Mayor.
