Cameron first represented Australia in 2022 when he made his debut for the Rugby 7's team in Wellington, New Zealand. Following this, he went on to represent Australia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. The team finished third and claimed the bronze medal. 

Cameron secured selection for the Australia National Rugby 7's team for the Rio 2016 Olympics where the team finished eighth. He was also a member of the NSW Waratahs rugby union team between 2016 and 2020.
