Paws for Safety - Educational Program
A free Dog Safety Education Program for Northern Beaches Schools and Childcare Centres
Why dog safety education is important
- Children aged 0-9 are most vulnerable to being bitten by a dog
- Children 0-4 are at the highest risk of hospitalisation
- Most bites are from a family or friend’s dog
- In NSW one child a week is hospitalised over a dog attack
