Emma began her sporting career as a nipper at Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club where she won multiple medals representing the club.

She commenced international triathlon competitions in 2013 as a Junior Women and was later selected to represent Australia at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Emma competed in the individual triathlon where she finished 26^th and the mixed team relay where the Australian team placed 9^th.

Emma continues to compete at an international level, representing Australia in elite triathlon competition.
