Topper's Mountain Wines
Topper's Mountain is in the cool "New England, Australia" region at 900m altitude, high up on the Great Dividing Range in northern NSW. In the early 2000s, we planted alot of varieties with little history in Australia. It turned out many of them adopted us & our terroir by easily producing more characterful wines than most of the French varieties. As a result, we specialise in rare, mostly Mediterranean Emerging Varieties such as Nebbiolo, Gewurztraminer, Manseng, Tannat, Touriga, Tinta Cao plus more. We make small batch, adventurous & distinctive wines with a focus on minimal intervention both in the vineyard & the winery, being food-friendly, cellarable & reflecting their rare terroir.
At Tulloch we have been crafting wines and experiences in the Hunter Valley that reach beyond the bottle for over 125 years and four generations creating better lives with wine, food, family and friends
