Manly Dam is a precious area of urban bushland that’s rich in biodiversity and beauty. Some of Australia's top ecologists survey, monitor and record the amazing flora and fauna that calls this place home. Come along to hear them explain why they think this local area is so special.

This walk & talk is led by Karen Smith. Karen has been the Aboriginal Heritage Office’s Education Officer since 2011 and has shared her knowledge and experience of the local area and Aboriginal history and culture with thousands of local residents, students and schools. She leads guided walks and provides talks and presentations throughout the partner Councils in northern Sydney.
