Suitable for ages 7 – 12 years
As part of Plastic Free July we’ve invited Be the Future to present a series of immersive school holiday workshops.
Kids will explore marine sustainability through art and interactive technology with a stimulating half-day experience!
The Marine Life Mission program playfully inspires children to protect local marine life as they:
● engage with interactive digital floor projections
● connect through a team mission to build the Northern Beaches coastline with pre-loved Lego
● take on an individual mission to create a 3D marine-life artwork using a range of recycled cardboard elements
● enjoy awe-inspiring storytelling about marine life on the Northern Beaches coastline while learning how to protect it
Four half-day sessions available:
● Wednesday 16 July 9:30am - 12:30pm
● Wednesday 16 July 1:30pm - 4:30pm
● Thursday 17 July 9:30am - 12:30pm
● Thursday 17 July 1:30pm - 4:30pm
There will be a brief break outdoors at the adjoining park (weather permitting) during each session. (Facilitators / staff will accompany children at all times).
