We invite all Australians, Schools, Early Learning Centres and Workplaces to join us for our 21st Day for Daniel and talk about Child Safety in your local community.
The Daniel Morcombe Foundation provides personal child safety education to children and young people to prevent abuse and promote lifelong health and wellbeing. We support educators, parents and carers through the provision of resources and education and directly support young victims of crime.
Keeping Kids Safe for over 20 years, the Foundation is very proud and honoured by the support of everyday Australians.
What you need to know to join in:
• Day for Daniel is on Friday 31 October, 2025
• Register at Day for Daniel - The Daniel Morcombe Foundation (It’s super easy!)
• Build safer communities by participating and promoting this national day of child safety awareness
• On Day for Daniel, Wear Red, Educate and Donate
Create your own Event – You can participate in Day for Daniel by creating your own event such as a walk, morning tea or sausage sizzle with a red theme.
Include an educational element to build safer communities. We have an extensive range of activity sheets, videos, podcasts and webinars to suit any age and audience. Our Australia’s Biggest Child Safety Lesson (ABCSL) is back for its ninth year, to deliver important safety messages to children in 2025. ABCSL 2025 will focus on Contextual Prevention which can be translated to Safe Spaces, creating safer environments for children in online and offline spaces. These resources are free for you to download and share with your communities to educate and build safer, stronger communities. You will find them on our website at Day for Daniel/Resources for Schools, ELCs & Workplaces - The Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
The Daniel Morcombe Foundation is educating to protect children and young people as primary prevention, to stop child sexual abuse before it starts. With your support, we aim to build a future where children are free from harm and abuse.
