Manly Cemetery is located in Fairlight on Griffiths Street, Harland Road and Hill Street. The cemetery has been operating since the 1870s. The earliest burial marked with a monument is that of Jane McLean in 1863. There are many interesting people interred in the Cemetery. Dog off-leash etiquette
The cemetery is also a 24-hour dog off-leash area.
We ask visitors to show respect for the deceased and their family and friends who may be visiting by enjoying this space appropriately.
Please remember:
- This is an active cemetery. Please be mindful of funeral services and people visiting gravesites.
- Visitors are encouraged to use the 2 open grassed areas for recreational activities.
- Rubbish including dog waste should be placed in the bin provided in the site shed on Harland Road or taken home.
- Manly of the monuments in the cemetery are more than 100 years old. Sitting, standing, climbing or leaning on them is disrespectful and may be potentially unsafe.
