Located at the southern end of Bilgola Beach. The rockpool is an 8 lane, 50 metre pool with concrete walls and floor.

Bilgola rockpool provides disability access. Change rooms and toilets are available.

Access from the carpark off The Serpentine. Pay and display parking is available. 

A cafe is located opposite the surf club. This location a little more "secluded"  than other beaches on the peninsula. 

Please note, Bilgola rockpool is not available approximately three hours prior to listed cleaning times and approximately 12 hours after, depending upon prevailing seas.

We are currently experiencing issues with refilling of a number of our rockpools.  Refilling of the rockpools occurs through a combination of in-situ pool pumps, ocean tide levels and swell conditions, and a portable pool pump when possible. 

There has been limited swell recently and high tides are at the lower end of their cycle which extends the time taken for pools to refill.  Pool pumps are being run when possible however they can only run during limited windows around high tides and some are being impacted by weed matter in the ocean.

Please note published times in the roster are subject to change depending on weather, prevailing seas, tidal flows and other surf conditions. The time taken to fill a pool after cleaning on any given day can vary and is dependent on the weather and surf conditions. A sign will be placed at the pool indicating it is closed during the filling process and will be removed as soon as possible once pool is full. Any specific closures of a pool other than for cleaning will be listed on the website.
