Camryn | We're here so we can learn all about why we have to look after the environment. |
Ada | It's important to learn how to help and save the environment because when we grow up, we're going to be adults, and that's going to be our world and we have to look after it. |
Molly | At Swap for Good, I learnt about how we can swap plastics out for reusable materials like metal. We just learnt about bringing your own cutlery and containers instead of using plastic bags and plastic bottles and different things that can hurt our world. |
Kalan | Single-use plastics are terrible for the environment because when they break down, they go into smaller pieces that hurt animals |
Arabella | Us younger kids need to reduce how much plastics we use, so less coffee cups that you can't reuse, less plastic bags, and more paper bags and more keep cups. |
Marley | By getting metal straws or not using straws in the first place. Having reusable containers, waste-free lunch |
Summer | I learnt how to start conversations with people. If we want someone to change the way that they're doing something, we can talk to them and teach them how to use less plastic and recycle. |
Camryn | I had so much fun here today, and I'm so excited to bring everything that I've learnt back to my school. |
