Northern Beaches Council Mayor, Michael Regan stands in front of new building and says:

I’m here at Nolan Reserve in North Manly to officially open the new sports amenities building. I’d think you’d agree, it looks awesome. Local soccer, cricket, touch and rugby teams, along with their supporters will make great use of these new facilities. The old middle and south amenities building were so run down that we replaced them with this wonderful 300 square metre, single story building. It includes two new change rooms which for the first time will give both female and male players equal access to the space. We’ve also installed accessible public toilets and 124 metres of accessible pathways to ensure that everybody can enjoy this new facility. We’ve built a canteen and BBQ area, a 64 square metre storage room and 120 metres of tiered seating which gives spectators wonderful views of the grounds, and we’ve put in 8 new cricket wickets.

The Mayor plays soccer and footy with children in front of the new building.

President of Harbord Football Club, Tom England says:

It’s been 10 years in the making to get to where we are today. Council has always been consultative, listened to our needs and delivered what’s going to be a fantastic facility for the whole community.

Mayor and Presidents tour the facilities showing changerooms, toilets, drinking fountains and more.

President of Manly Warringah Touch Association, Ian Kalms says:

This facility will be able to service our members better than ever before, especially for our Friday night junior competition when we get 2000 players and families down here at the one time.

President of Manly Warringah Junior Cricket Association, David Nimmo says:

The facilities are fantastic. We’re actually hoping to make this a hub for our junior rep cricket.

Working with the Council has been seamless. Really easy to deal with. I tip my hat to everyone I’ve dealt with from early planning right up to the completed project.
