National Science Week

Inspire kids to learn science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by borrowing one of our STEM kits! For kids aged 6 and over, these kits can show them how to develop their own musical instruments, how to turn bananas into a piano, how to program a little robot and much more.

Borrowing STEM kits

  • They are available at all branches;
  • The loan period is three weeks;
  • The kits cannot be renewed, reserved or transferred, and
  • The kits must be returned to the branch it was borrowed from and handed to staff. We ask that the kits not be placed through the returns chute.

You can search for available STEM kits in the library catalogue or by browsing the kits below.
