Libraries

We have many online children's resources that you can access for free as part of your library membership. If you would like to join your child up to the library, you can join online and we will post your card to you.

For reading, take a look at:

Story Box Library

Listen and watch your favourite children's stories read aloud by Australian and New Zealand story tellers in Story Box Library. All you need is your library card number to log in.

BorrowBox

We have hundreds of children's book available in BorrowBox, in both eBooks and eAudiobook format. You can read the classics like Harry Potter, listen to your favourite Disney stories or listen to some fantastic junior non-fiction about famous trailblazers and what they achieved. For a limited time also, you can read or listen to the entire Treehouse series by Andy Griffiths without waiting! Download the BorrowBox app from the App store or Google Play store to read or listen on your mobile device.

Overdrive

We have a bunch of children's eBooks and eAudiobooks in Overdrive and some have unlimited loans! Download the Libby by Overdrive app from the App store or Google Play store to read or listen on your mobile device.

For educational games, take a look at:

Animalia Education

Animalia Education for Libraries is an interactive literacy app based on Animalia, the iconic picture book by Graeme Base. Children work through various activities while meeting every character from the picture book along the way. Animalia is compatible with iPads, Macs, Windows and android devices. Once you have downloaded the app, use your library card number to log in.

CoderZ and Rainforest Coding

We have not one, but two platforms to help kids learn coding! CoderZ helps kids learn science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by coding virtual 3D robots. Rainforest Coding helps kids learn Scratch coding through an online adventure with robots.

Busy Things

Busy Things is a wonderfully quirky online resource that is not only educational but is extremely colourful and filled with humours characters.
