With the reintroduction of COVID-19 restrictions, we are taking the appropriate steps to help keep our staff and community safe.

If you are feeling unwell, please stay home and follow NSW Health advice.

*We have updated this news story to reflect restrictions introduced on Wednesday 23 June.

Changes to school holiday activities

In the interest of community safety, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Teddy Bears' Sleepover. We hope to run this event during the September school holidays.

Due to capacity restrictions with the 1 person/4sqm health order, our other planned school holiday activities have been affected. This includes:

  • The Big Science Show;
  • Junior Builder Workshops, and
  • Master Builder Workshops.

If you are booked into one of the above activities, our Library Programs team may contact you if there are any changes. We are currently working on how we can run these events safely within the new restrictions and appreciate your patience.

If you have any further enquires about the school holiday actives, please email our Library Programs team.

Regular children's programs

Our regular children's programs, including Story Time and Baby Bounce, will be suspended until further notice. These sessions do not normally run through NSW School Holidays so we will resume them after this time if restrictions are eased.

Early literacy programs online

We are happy to offer early literacy programs online including Story Time and Rhyme Time for Babies. These are always available on our YouTube channel. You can also access Story Box Library which is a collection of children's stories read aloud by famous faces from Australia and New Zealand.

Face masks and social distance

All visitors to the library are required to wear a face mask when entering and moving around the branch. Our staff are also required to wear masks.

The 1 person/4sqm rule has also been reintroduced. Don't forget to socially distance (1.5m) when visiting our libraries.

Check-in

Upon entering the library, you must provide your full name and contact number as a method of contact tracing. Please scan the QR code near the entry to check-in with Service NSW. If you don't have a smartphone, our staff can assist you.

Justice of the Peace

To help keep our volunteers safe, our JP services may be affected. Please check the JP calendar

Please keep an eye on our website for further updates.

We appreciate your cooperation as we work through the current COVID health orders.
