Alongside Council Libraries, Northern Beaches Council supports four thriving community libraries led by volunteers.

Our community libraries are located in Terrey Hills, Seaforth, Freshwater and Avalon.

This year Terrey Hills Community Library are celebrating 20 years of their wonderful young adult library space. 

Avalon Community Library will also be celebrating their 40th anniversary later in 2023. Watch this space for more information about the celebrations taking place later in the year.

If you are interested in volunteering, Harbord Community Library and Balgowlah Seaforth Community Library are currently looking for more volunteers.
