Christmas Wishing Trees

This Christmas you can give to those in need in our local area by donating a gift via our Christmas Wishing Trees.

The Wishing Trees are located in Manly and Warringah Mall libraries.

To get involved all you need to do is:

  • Visit Manly or Warringah Mall Library,
  • Take a tag from the basket,
  • Return your gift unwrapped no later than Friday December 17
  • Give your gift and the tag to library staff

Not near Manly or Warringah libraries and still want to donate a gift? Talk to your local library team member.

Gifts will be distributed by Community Northern Beaches to local people in need. Thank you for giving generously.

Manly Library is also collecting donations of non-perishables

Manly Library in partnership with Stepping Stone House, is acting as a donation collection point for non-perishable food items, toiletries, laundry and cleaning products.

It's really easy to support young people in need this Christmas by dropping a donation into Manly Library.

Give your donation to our library concierge team member or place in the donations box conveniently located in the library near where you return your items. We're collecting donations until 18 December.

Some suggestions for donations include dried pasta, rice, biscuits, tea, coffee, jams, spreads, hot chocolate powder, canned drinks, canned foods, cordial, long life juice, cake or pancake mixes, laundry powder, fabric conditioner, cleaning products, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving foam, cling wrap and tinfoil.

Thank you for your generosity.
