girl writing, think bubble, red berret
Saturday, 14 June 2025 - 01:00 pm to 03:00 pm

Join Willo Drummond, a poet and lecturer in creative writing, for a poetry workshop this pride month.

Use a range of poems as prompts, experiment with various ways to find your poetic voice and write from lived experience, as we explore the idea of lyric as resistance in this reading and writing workshop.

This workshop is suitable for all adults ages 18 and over, and is LGBTQIA+ friendly, exploring and celebrating queer identities and personal expression.

Participants are encouraged to bring along a favourite poem and/or a recent news clipping to respond on the day.

Enquiries: 8495 5028 or libraryprograms@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au
