Fantasy Birds is a vibrant new exhibition on display at Warringah Mall Library showcasing a series of imaginative collages inspired by Australia’s diverse wild birdlife. Created by art students using their original acrylic paintings, each piece has been carefully constructed as a collage on watercolour paper. The works reflect the students’ personal interpretations and deep fascination with birds, resulting in a colourful and expressive collection that celebrates both creativity and nature.
The ArtAbility Program has been offering classes at the Forest Community Art Centre for over 30 years, successfully supporting the local disability community with creative art programs. The talented art students are accompanied by their very enthusiastic carers who act as their artist assistants.
The Fantasy Birds exhibition is on display now at Warringah Mall Library until Wednesday 28 January. Please be aware that the exhibition space may occasionally be booked for other events. If you're planning to travel in to view the exhibition, we recommend calling ahead on 8495 5022 to confirm availability.
