Whether you’re out for a morning walk, pushing a pram, or using a wheelchair, locals and visitors can now stroll between South Curl Curl Beach and Fisherman’s Walk with ease from this weekend, thanks to a major boardwalk upgrade.

Delivered in partnership with the NSW Government, the improved link features a new accessible ramp and boardwalk - perfect for taking in the coastal views without any hassle.

People of all ages will notice the difference, as the connection is now safer, keeping pedestrians well away from cars and making the route more welcoming for those with mobility challenges.

This upgrade is part of a bigger plan to boost sustainable infrastructure, helping everyone to enjoy the natural beauty of the Northern Beaches.

The carpark works are still waiting to be finalised but the walkway will be open this weekend for the community to enjoy. If you’d like more details, you can check out the South Curl Curl boardwalk project page.

This important Council project was funded with a grant from the NSW Government.
