Great news! Out Front 2026 is back at Manly Art Gallery & Museum (MAG&M), running from 20 February to 5 April 2025.
Out Front showcases the creative flair of 25 amazing HSC Visual Arts students from 21 Northern Beaches secondary schools. Now in its 32nd year, this exhibition is all about celebrating fresh ideas, bold artwork and the incredible local talent and the support from local teachers, schools and families.
This year’s line-up is packed with everything from painting and sculpture to digital media and mixed installations. The students dive into themes like identity, transformation, the environment and self-expression – all with their unique, youthful twist. It’s a brilliant chance to see the next generation of artists making their mark.
Don’t miss the buzz on opening night, Friday 20 February from 6–8pm. It’s free, friendly and a great way to connect with the local arts crowd, meet the artists, maybe even spot your favourite work for the People’s Choice Award and learn who is the recipient of the coveted Theo Batten Youth Art Award.
