We are now inviting schools with experienced Jazz bands to register their interest to perform at Manly Jazz 2024!
Manly Jazz will be back from 20 - 22 September. Enjoy 3 days of toe-tapping, finger-snapping, and soul-stirring melodies that will transport you to a world of musical magic.
Key information
Bands should be playing at a high level or be a first / second-year level from established programs. Bands are encouraged to feature soloists and vocals. Instrumentation representative of a traditional format big band – trumpets, trombones, saxes, rhythm section is also encouraged.
In your submission please upload 3 tunes including a ballad and 1 or 2 others showing the breadth of the band members capabilities. The recordings do not have to be of a performance – they can be recorded in a rehearsal.
Schools may submit multiple bands, however a separate form must be submitted for each band.
Submissions close Thursday 20 June 2024.
