It is an honour to be leading the new Northern Beaches Council and my role as the Administrator is to work with the General Manager in place of the councillors until elections are held in September 2017.
We now have the opportunity to create a dynamic and progressive Council of the future that will provide great results for the people of the Northern Beaches.
Integral to the new Council will be community engagement so that all areas of the Northern Beaches receive fair representation. We will be working hard with our community to build a strong, collaborative and inclusive organisation.
I will be working closely with staff to ensure a smooth as possible transition and your patience during this time is appreciated.
The Northern Beaches Council will give the region a stronger voice on issues such as transport and other infrastructure when dealing with the State Government.
Together we will establish a new organisation that will lead the way for future generations. We look forward to working with the Northern Beaches community to reflect your values and aspirations in the programs and services that we deliver.
