Local Author Program

Are you a local author or illustrator on the Northern Beaches?

Our Local Author Talk program aims to support and promote our diverse local talent by providing an opportunity for independent or self-published authors, illustrators, and speakers to connect with their community.

Local Author Talks

Local authors interested in delivering an Author talk at one of our library locations can submit an expression of interest via our online form below.

Talks are self-managed by the author, either as a solo presentation or in conversation with a facilitator (to be sourced by the author) and can include print, audio and visual media works.

Suggestion for purchase

Local authors are welcome to suggest their title for inclusion in our library collections.

Please check our Library Catalogue to see if your title is already held in our collection. If your title is not already available, you may submit a request via our online form below.

All works must be recently released and can be independent or self-published.
