Bookings are open for the kids to come along and enjoy the many and varied activities on offer at Northern Beaches Council's Vacation Care Centres during the spring school holidays.

Northern Beaches Council's spring school holiday program runs from 26 September to 7 October 2016 and has a wide variety of centre-based activities and excursions for school children aged 5 to 12 years.

Some of the excursions on offer as part of the vacation care program include a visit to the Seymour Centre to see Erth's Dinosaur Zoo and Marian Street Theatre to see Pinocchio, as well as visiting Attractivity, Ice Zoo, Golden Harbour Chinese Restaurant, Taronga Zoo, Chinese Gardens at Darling Harbour, Hoyts, Featherdale Wildlife Park, Manly Dam and much more.

Every day at the Centres there will be a variety of activities to suit all children including art, craft, cooking and sporting activities, all fitting in with a daily theme. Special highlights at the Centres include Wild Animal Encounters, mini Olympics, drama workshops, drum safaris, science shows, laser warriors, nerf gun battles, teddy bear making, a star wars show, a robot riot and much more.

While the children are having fun at a Centre or out on excursion, their parents will be able to relax knowing they are being looked after by a team of professional carers.

Northern Beaches Council also offers activities for teens and families in our Libraries, Aquatic Centre and Glen Street Theatre.

A full list of activities and the vacation care booking form can be found in the Northern Beaches Council School Holiday Activities brochure available from Monday 22 August at Customer Service at the Civic Centre, libraries at Dee Why, Belrose, Forestville and Warringah Mall and online.
