Food truck operators are now invited to express interest in trading at Northern Beaches Council’s 2026/27 events.

Fee: $200 excl. GST
Christmas Choral Concert
Thursday 3 December 2026, 5 – 8pm
Manly Oval, Manly
Fee: $350 excl. GST
Christmas by the Beach
Friday 11 December 2026, 4 – 7:30pm
James Meehan Reserve, Dee Why
Fee: $200 excl. GST
Australia Day Eve Open Air Cinema
Monday 25 January 2027, 5:30 – 8:30pm
Lakeside Park, Narrabeen
Fee: $200 excl. GST
Open Air Cinema Cromer
TBC Friday & Saturday in March/April 2027, 5:30 – 8:30pm
St Matthews Farm Reserve, Cromer
Fee: $400 excl. GST for 2 nights (equates to $200 per night)
Food truck conditions for all events:
- Limited vendor positions are available.
- The food vendor fee includes a designated site for a food truck or trailer.
- Vendors must operate from a fully enclosed truck, trailer or van. Food stalls are not permitted.
- All vendors are required to supply their own equipment, including power generator and handwashing facilities.
- Food vendors must have a Temporary or Mobile Food Permit to operate within the Northern Beaches, for further information please refer to Council’s website. All vendors must also comply with the Food Act 2003, the NSW Food Authority Guidelines Mobile Food Vending Vehicles, Chapter 3: Food safety standards under the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code and Guidelines for Food Businesses at Temporary Events.
- Vendors must hold valid Public and Product Liability Insurance ($20M) and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- Vendors must comply with Northern Beaches Council Event Waste Management Guidelines. Plastic and polystyrene products and packaging, including drinking cups, food containers, drinking straws and stirrers, cutlery, plates, sauce/sugar/pepper sachets or any single use plastic must not be used or distributed at this event. Prohibited single-use plastic includes “bio-plastic”, “biodegradable plastic”, “degradable plastic” or “compostable plastic” products. Any products sold or distributed must be reusable, or comprised of biodegradable or recyclable material, such as paper, cardboard or bamboo.
