Todd Fuller, Ben's Bromance, 2025

Wednesday, 1 April 2026 - 06:00 pm to 08:30 pm

Learn how to create animations and craft your own moving-image stories in this hands-on workshop with award-winning artist Todd Fuller.

Designed for young artists, HSC students, and emerging animators, this workshop offers an accessible entry point into animation and experimental moving image.

Through a series of simple, analogue-inspired animation exercises, participants will learn how to generate movement, rhythm, and narrative using everyday materials and their own digital devices.

The session focuses on low-tech, high-impact processes that can be applied anytime, anywhere, perfect for students looking to add a distinctive moving-image component to their Body of Work, or for anyone curious about animation as a contemporary art practice.

Participants will leave with practical skills, creative prompts, and a clear understanding of how animation can be used as a storytelling tool within visual art, performance, and expanded drawing practices.

No prior animation experience required. Ages 16+.
