Are you a surfer or a shaper keen to reduce your board’s impact on the health of the ocean? Join us to learn about sustainability in the surf industry and what to look for in your next board. 

Local resident and academic Tom Wilson discusses the issues of toxicity, carbon and waste associated with the surf industry and the consumer interest in sustainable alternatives. 

Followed by a Q&A with international shaping legend Donny Brink and Sydney local Nathaniel Grey who shapes and rides hollow timber and paulownia boards.

Light refreshments included.

This event is being held in partnership with Surfing NSW and is part of the 2019 Vissla Sydney Surf Pro.
