A group of people exploring the rock platform

BOOKED OUT

Date

Sunday, 22 October 2017 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Come and join us on a low-tide rock platform tour!

Once the ocean retreats an amazing world is uncovered for us to enjoy. Spring is a great time to investigate the amazing diversity of life between the land and the sea and how marine creatures survive in such a unique and challenging environment.

Sea stars, sea hares, limpets, and crabs are just some of the creatures that call rock platforms home.

The tour offers you a unique chance to learn about the amazingly abundant life that exists on rock platforms. Guided by local experts, you will experience first-hand a world that is rarely seen.

This is a Northern Beaches Council's Green Communities Event.
