Children from 0 to 9 years old experience the highest rates of hospitalisation from dog related incidents with 74% of them from a dog they know. 

This free event will help ensure you keep your children safe from dog related incidents. 

Council is teaming up with the Pet Professional Guild to provide information sessions so you can keep your children safe. You'll learn how to: 

• protect your children from being bitten
• teach your child to interact with dogs safely
• understand dangerous dog behaviour, what to look for, what to do and what not to do
• be a responsible dog owner.
