Kick start your musical journey with local musicians from the Rise Academy of Music for a free two-session online adult beginners singing course as part of our Create at Home – Music program.
Day one will help you discover your full vocal potential by exploring the foundations of proper vocal technique and mastery, including breaking down voice fundamentals including posture, breathing, vocal health, anatomy and more.
Day two provides a performance workshop where you can showcase your singing talents to the class and receive feedback and support from the coach and peers.

Tina Alcorace – Director | Founder of Rise Academy of Music
With over a decade of vocal coaching and performing experience, Tina Alcorace is not only an accomplished vocal coach, qualified music teacher (Bachelor of Contemporary Music and Masters in Teaching/Double Method in Music, Graduate of New York Teacher Training Course) and songwriter, she also continues to work and perform in and around Sydney, under her stage name, ‘Mys T’.
Tina’s industry knowledge and experience stem from her work in radio and appearances on a vast array of television programs such as Young Talent Time, Australia’s Got Talent, Australian Idol, XFactor and The Voice Australia. In 2018, Tina was invited to utilise her musical skills and knowledge by appearing as a judge on Channel Seven’s hit show, ‘All Together Now’.
Tina founded the Rise Academy of Music in 2020 with the intention of creating an academy that encompasses all areas of music for all levels of music ability including, aspiring musicians and performing artists. The Rise Academy of Music believes in providing opportunities for all ages and music abilities with a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge and skills required to discover their full potential both musically and within their personal life.
