Gardening is a popular activity on the Northern Beaches. Many people with an interest in gardening belong to a group that in turn belongs to the Garden Clubs of Australia Inc. There are 97 garden clubs in Sydney affiliated with Garden Clubs of Australia, of which 13 are located within the Northern Beaches.
The Garden Clubs of Australia is an umbrella organisation for affiliated garden clubs as well as similar societies, associations and groups throughout Australia. The Garden Clubs of Australia’s motto is “Friendship through Gardens.”
