Our judges were eminent local artists and experts:

  • Elli Walsh: Deputy Editor of Artist Profile magazine and Curator at 3.33 Art Projects
  • Sarah Robson: Cross-Disciplinary Artist
  • Ken Done: Artist

They judged the shortlisted entries and chose ten winners from each of the categories - Open (19 years and over) and Youth.

Winning works include images of paintings, drawings, photography, ceramics, digital and mixed media.

The Open category winners were awarded $1,000 each and the Youth category winners awarded $500 each.

Mayor Michael Regan said each year the calibre of the entries is incredible. “A huge congratulations to all the winners but also to all the entrants in this year’s competition. As always the judges had a very difficult decision. COVID has been a unique and emotional time for so many and you really see that reflected through the submitted works."

The 20 winning artworks were made into printed postcards and are available for purchase from Manly Art Gallery & Museum.
