MAG&M offers a range of creative learning programs, including the fortnightly life drawing studio. Hone your artistic skills through our masterclasses with professional artists. Learn through hands-on activities, to create your own work inspired by pieces currently on exhibition. Children can also explore their creativity through regular Art Adventure and school holiday workshops.

Kids' Art Adventures Creative Workshops

Every second Sunday, 10:30am–12pm

Hands-on workshop at the MAG&M inspire kids aged 5–11 to learn about photomontage, printmaking, sculpture, illustration and painting. Children are inspired through engaging with a range of exciting artists and artworks, learning about different art forms and mediums, and taking home a creation of their own.

Looking at images of our waterways in Nick Hollo’s exhibition and use pastels to look like paint

Learn how to create your own map using pencils and watercolours

Life Drawing Studio

Want to build confidence and practise your creative skills? MAG&M Society runs a regular evening life drawing studio that is open to all, at any level of drawing skill. Mingle and make new friends over refreshments during the half-time break.
