This July, Northern Beaches Libraries are joining libraries across NSW in celebrating the Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds campaign during Library and Information Week. It’s an invitation to discover everything your local library has to offer, whether you're a regular visitor, haven't visited in years or have never stepped through the doors. 

From free digital resources and welcoming spaces to community events, children's programs and innovative services like 24/7 library access, your library opens more doors than you might expect.

🎤 Open Mic Night is held monthly at Manly Library, with Under 18s Open Mic Night at Warringah Mall. 

📚 Book Chat Groups meet monthly at Dee Why, Manly and Mona Vale Libraries. Drop in and enjoy welcoming with fellow readers.

🎲 Social Scrabble runs weekly across five library branches, offering a fun, drop-in way to meet people and connect with your community.

🕒 24/7 access at Manly and Forestville Libraries, giving you the flexibility to visit when it suits your lifestyle (after a brief induction).

📰 Your library membership includes free access to thousands of digital newspapers and magazines through BorrowBox and Libby, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, The Daily Telegraph and international titles with translated editions.

👶 Free story time and early literacy programs help children aged 0-5 years develop lifelong love of reading.
