Inspire kids to learn science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by borrowing one of our new makerspace kits!

For kids aged 6 and over, these kits can show them how to develop their own musical instruments, how to turn bananas into a piano, how to program a little robot and much more. 

Here are the kits that are available to borrow from Warringah Mall Library:

MaKey MaKey

This is an invention kit for the 21st century. Turn everyday objects into touch pads and combine them with the Internet.

LittleBits

This kit changes the way music is created and experienced. It involves over 12 activities that will guide kids through building and customising musical inventions.

BBC micro:bit

In this simple and easy to use kit, kids are able to learn skills in coding, designing animated LED games and much more.

Spero SPRK+

Equipped with Bluetooth Smart and a scratch-resistant durable shell, SPRK+ will foster a love of robotics, coding and STEM principals.

Ozobot bit

Learn programming through Blockly software. Ozobot plays on paper, game boards and tablets.

Circuit Scribe Ultra

Let your creativity merge with science as you build exciting circuits using our Circuit Scribe conductive ink pen, magnetic modules and paper.
