The Art of Ageing exhibition is a NSW Government initiative under the NSW Ageing Strategy 2016-2020, which aims to challenge people's views on ageing and the experiences of older people across the state. A learner driver, gymnast and ukulele player are among the extraordinary seniors who are featured in the exhibition, which not only celebrates the lives of older people living in regional NSW but promotes an inclusive community for all generations.
The Art of Ageing exhibition will be displayed in digital format across our six branches throughout the Seniors Festival which runs from the 13 - 24 February. You will see the work of five photographers from Wagga Wagga, Taree, Molong, Mudgee and Goulburn. A physical version of the exhibition will also be on tour across NSW and will be on display in Mona Vale Library during October 2019.
More information regarding the exhibition artwork, stories and photographer biographies can be viewed online at Family, Community and Services.
